Let’s start step by step business process.

Kindly note that this Article does not include Configuration & Master data creation, It will only give you Quick Overview of how you can import various data in ERPNext from Excel or CSV File.

Step 01: Prepare CSV or Excel in Downloaded Material Template, you will see template download button in same step in which you upload the data.

Step 02: Click on Import data

Step 03: Click on add data Import.

Step 04: Click on attach to choose your file.

Step 05: Choose your file location.

Step 05: Click on Upload.

Step 06: If you have uploaded the file in downloaded template then it will automatically map it, you can still verify by clicking on mapping.

Step 7: Click on Submit.

Step 8: Click on Start Import.

Step 9: Go to homepage.

Step 10: Click on Material Request List.

Step 11: Open the uploaded Material Request List.

Step 12: Verify the Data uploaded from Excel or CSV and click on submit.

Step 13: Click on yes.
